Ick yuck ptuuii. He was also supposed to be a Doberman (turned out to be a Thoroughbred), so he's not as off-topic around here as one might think. Rocky: [nq:1]now she sleeps with her feet in my face. it's just not the same.[/nq]With a short-haired dog, that's better than her sleeping with her butt in your face. Matt. Rocky's a Dog.

Abby Pennington: [nq:1]My real problem is Sleddog Central. Dangerous ads, like this: http://www.sleddogcentral.com/french.htm[/nq] OMG I totally want to pluck all those tufties. I am sooo bad about my urge to pluck tufties. I used to follow my Goldens around during shedding season and pluck tufties. I am elated if I find them on my current dogs! I am also known for plucking tufties on dogs at work, too. -Abby Pems, Aussie, and a Pug *Remove shoes to reply*

Abby Pennington: [nq:1]Orson was actually named after Mork's alien boss on Mork & Mindy, but most people who ask about his name don't remember the show, or I assume by their age that they wouldn't. It's usually easier to say he's named after Orson Welles.[/nq]What ages do you assume wouldn't know of Mork and Mindy? (BTW, I am 26 and I used to watch Mork & Mindy I am a HUGE Robin Williams fan!) -Abby Pems, Aussie, and a Pug *Remove shoes to reply*

The younger ones generally have no idea aboutMork and Mindy. They're like 'Robin Williams was on a show as an alien? Yeah, sure, lady.' Cate

Cate: [nq:1]i understand that. i have a cat named Muad'Dib, but people just look at me blankly so i usually call him Mo.[/nq]I'm afraid I'd be one of the blank starers. [nq:1]they do, and no, she's not. when we first saw her, we were talking about adopting her, and my SO ... just a wiggly name. i usually say she's named after the other Lola song... "whatever Lola wants, Lola gets".[/nq] Perfect! [nq:1]we didn't. that name came with him. however, it is the name of my favorite sports star from my childhood, ... swahili, so we just figured it fit and stuck with it. sometimes i think his name should be "bubbah" though.[/nq] Nah, I like Manu. But I know what you mean. Cate
