Hi! We have a Jack Russel terrier. He's two and a half years old. For the last 3 weeks I've often seen him lick the area under his tail. He didn't do it before and now it happens several times a day. Is it normal behavior? It started after he had diarrhea but the problem was gone about 2 weeks ago whereas he still licks himself.

No, not normal imo. It could be worms or problems with anal glands. Why not show him to a vet? Emotion: dog
