Are small dogs easier to take care about than large dogs? This is a discussion thread · 1 replies Anonymous: pls post an answer, i need to knowAnonymous: Absolutely not, big dogs just take up more room. I have had all sizes, from 145 pounds to 11 pounds. It is all personality The 145 pounder thought he was a lap dog and the 11 pounder, very independent, more like a cat. Choose wisely as you are making a lifetime commitment. Take your time and get to know the personality of your pet. Whether it takes a couple trips to the shelter or try fostering. The right critter will come along. I say chose wisely, just as you would a friend because this will be the very best friend you have ever had. It will be surprising how much more you need them than they need you.. Don't get me wrong.....they need you, truly. Coming home to a non-judgemental, unconditionally loving, can't wait to see you partner is the most amazing feeling you will ever have If you have a specific breed in mind, please search your breed for rescue foundations (i.e., boxer rescue). They do an incredible job of matching people and know the personalities, likes, dislikes and needs. They have complete physicals and are "fixed", have up to date shots. The fees vary, but trust me, in the long run, you will be glad you paid that fee. and these fees are kind of a "pay it forward", they help the next animal.I wish you all the luck in the world in your life life partnership, it will change you and make you a better person.
