Bath for pet rat?

A hairless rat is very different from a regular rat and requires different care. I agree to the answer above though bathe it when it's REALLY needed, rats generally do not need bathing at all the oils on their skin are important to keep him healthy and safe and bathing will strip those oils which can cause problems. So the best thing to do is actually use pet wipes like the comment above stated which will clean him if needed but wont strip the oils of of him. It is also important to keep the cage very clean (even litter train it which makes things muchhh more easier!).

You can do that if your rat starts smelling. Bathe it in the bathroom or use pet wipes.
