Hello, 3 days ago we noticed some blood in our cat's poo. It was only once and she's been all right since then. She doesn't show any signs of sickness. Do you think we should take her to a vet for a check anyway or no need?

I honestly think you should contact a veterinarian, for at more accurate diagnosis.

3 days isn't that long ago. How much blood was it? Was it a lot or just a spot? If it was just a little, I'd say keep an eye on her, she could have been straining from being slightly constipated. Keep a close eye and if she does it again, call the vet asap.

It was not much - only a few drops. I tried to check her anal area for sings of fissure but she didn't let me do it well. From what I could see there's a small brown spot that looks like dried blood. Even if I'm right, I'm not sure how long it was there. I'll wait a few days I guess.
