I have a slightly overweight 8 yr old housecat who constantly moans and yowls all the time. This has been going on for the last couple of months and i just can't take it anymore! Also, I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but i just moved, and in my new home, my cat can't go outside because i live in a main street with lots of cars. Even in my old home, he only went out every 2-3 days and preferred to stay home. how do i stop his moaning?

So, I have 3 un-neutured male cats. I have been bugging my husband for a good six months to get them neutered because I knew it was only a matter of time before they started fighting. And lo and behold, the have indeed tfighting. The older one fights the middle one and the middle one goes and beats up on the youngest one. The older one, Kal, is around 2-4 years of age. The middle one, Billy, is between 1-3 years of age. The youngest one, Nibbler, is at most a year and a half. Nibbler gets the worst of it. If Billy even so much as sees Nibbler, the fighting begins. Well, not so much fighting as Billy jumping on him and Nibbler trying to get away. It's gotten so bad that Nibbler rarely comes in the house. And it's so weird because Billy and Nibbler used to love each other. My question is...how on earth do I keep them from fighting until I can get them to the vet? I'm calling the vet tomorrow to see what the price is. Another question, if I choose to get the younger one fixed first, will Billy stop jumping on him all the time? Cause the oldest cat is very rarely actually in the house so fights between him and Billy are rare. But Billy and Nibbler tend to occupy the same space, our room. I'm thinking I'm gonna have to stop letting Billy into our room and make that strictly Nibbler's space. I am sooo frustrated because the youngest one is my kitty and he is such a gentle soul. he doesn't even try to fight back. he just runs away...but Billy is faster. HELP!!!

Hello My Cat (Mr Nuggets) is 9-10 months old and he's completely healthy(according to their vet) but lately he sits around in the stair hall and start to moan like crazy. It's been like 3 weeks, everyday when he's done playing with my other cat(Cookie she's 7-8 months old) he just goes to the stair hall and start moaning like hell. I have been reading different forums on the internet usually cats do this when they are grieving or lonely or when they get old. I am really worried and quite fed up with his moaning. Any cat behavioral experts want to take a shot here? Thanks

I have to male cats, 7 year old Nero and Domino. Nero's never been great at using the litter tray but now every time he needs to urinate he does it at the front door and I don't know how to stop this. It's pushing my fiancée away so I'm desperate for help. Thank you

I've seen many cats that are literally obsessed with boxes. They'll always try to get into them. Is there any special reason behind such behavior?

I have just (2 weeks ago) got 2 Cornish Rex kittens (brother and sister, desexed, 4 months old now). They came litter trained and for the first week there were no problems - settled in well, using litter boxes 100% of the time. Sleeping in our bed when they wanted - again no problems, no accidents outside litter box. Last Thursday however, we cleaned the house and vacuumed and during cleaning I noticed that the male had urinated on the bed (in area where they do not sleep). Assumed it was anxiety caused by noise of vacuum as they both ran and hid when it went on. Assumed it was a one off and everything was fine again for a week. This morning however, when they were running around playing, they were both on the bed and we found the male had urinated again (he was wiping his feet so assumed it was him not the girl) - in a place where they do not sleep. Both times it was a puddle, not spraying. Not sure why this has happened again - the litter boxes are washed and litter changed every other day, solid waste removed as soon as done. There have been no other outside litter incidents anywhere else and vet reported no health problems. There have been no night time incidents in the bed either -both times it was when they were awake, and they have continued to use their litter boxes as normal. They are happy, playfull, affectionate cats otherwise. Can anyone assist in figuring out why this may be happening - is this something he will grow out of? I will try changing litter every day instead of every other day and the bedding has been sprayed with urinie odour eliminators and washed at the laundromat so should not have any smells still on it. Thank you for your help.

After a meal, my cat sometimes tries to bury his food like he'd bury the stuff in his litter box. What does it mean? Does your cat do it too? Thx.

Have a cat behavioral question. We have a 4 year old male cat that is fixed. He is an inside cat, but we let him go in our screened in room attached to the back of our house. There are possums and racoons that live under our wooden deck. He likes to watch them. However, tonight he was looking at a possum an I opened the door to the screened in room to see if it was a possum or racoon. Our cat started growling at me. I backed away from the door and he came inside. He continued to growl and move towards me. I continued to backup. He then leeped at my leg and I had to kick him off. I opend the door and he eventually went back into the screened in room. I shut the door and he continued growling at me. To top things off, the cat sleeps with me in the bed, next to my side, every night. He is a lovable cat and this has me freaked out! Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
