Hello cat lovers! I have a question about cat litter. We've decided to move it outside the house but instead of using it our cats began to use our garden. Is there are way to train them to use an outside litter box? We've tried covering their favorite soiling spots with a netting but this didn't put them off. We're a little frustrated and unsure if moving the litter was a clever idea. Well at least they don't soil in the house but this is a small consolation. Emotion: sweating

1.you should have moved the litter tray gradually,not just take it and place outside.you can take the litter in the house again and move it slowly this time,no harm in trying considering they ignore it outside anyway
2.do they use the same spot always?if so maybe you should give it to them if that's ok with you.or give them another pot outside,add some litter in it,and take them there when you think they want to go to toilet to encourage them to use it
