Cat puts toys in waterThis is a discussion thread · 6 replies Anonymous: Hi does anyone else's cat do this? My cat keeps putting her toy mice in the water and they end up totally soaked, why does she do that?!Mine used to put everything in her water, even my socks!  don't know why they do that but if she's a kitten, she should grow out of it. Yes, one of my cats used to do that all the time too and never grew out of it. But socks? That's a new one My guess it's a territorial thing. One of my cats favorite games is when we fill up the sink with water and throw q-tips and cut up straws and plastic balls in there and he will sit there and fish out every single item and then throw it back in there and fish it out again! He can do that for hours! Oh whow, I knew cats could be weird but I didn't realize they could be that weird! I'm getting a cat in two weeks. I wonder what odd habits she'll have!  Where do your cats find water to put the toys in anyway? Do you keep a full bathtub at all times?Junior Participant12 Oh your gonna have so much fun discovering your cat's funny habits! I'm not sure how we discovered my cat likes doing that he's always loved playing with q-tips and straws I'm guessing my mom filled up the sink for some reason and he just happened to start playing with it   | Have a question?
