Some dogs that were bred for hunting and (or) work are more difficult to maintain because they're stubborn by nature, so if you're looking for a family dog choose the breeds for beginners. Rude I know, but I find your statement shows a lack of knowledge and experience, and infact - is completely wrong Hi, I mean dogs for hunting and work generally need an experienced, confident dog owner rather than a novice.
