Do pets listen to certain names more? This is a discussion thread · 2 replies Hello there. once upon a time someone told me that if you name your pet with certain letters at the end of the name, it will have an easier time listening to you. This was years ago so I don't remember the letters, but I think it was something like with an I at the end. So like KittIE, FluffIE, SmokIE, TrixIE etc... Is there some truth to this? I find all my pets don't listen to me no matter the name lol Nice page you guys got here btw Alex First Steps01 I've heard something similar, too, but as far as I remember they said it was an R letter that made pets be more responsive to a name. Honestly, I have no idea if it's true. One of my cats is named Magnus and the other one is Vincent. I have never thought about what sounds are better for them to respond to but I've noticed they both won't respond when they don't want to. ![]() Regular Participant116 | Have a question?
