 Dog's eye changing color?2 replies I have a cross breed dog he's 5 years old. About half a year ago his left eye started to be runny and I used teabags to cure it. It could occasionally get worse or better but it's been still runny. Recently we noticed his eye began to be covering with a dim blue veil. We are broke and cannot take him to a vet so  I was hoping if anyone could give some tips. Many thanks in advance.First Steps01 We can give a tip but we cannot give your dog a cure. A blue tinge on the eye can indicate glaucoma which is a very painful condition and can result in blindness. Your dog needs veterinary help, the sooner the better.
