Are there dog breeds that do not smell? I have a feeling all dogs smell no matter how good you care for their coat and bathe them you know. My boyfriend wants a dog very badly and I said OK but only if it doesn't smell!!

Yup basically most of the curly haired dogs don't smell.. Although medium-small dogs usually don't smell either, Never met one that did really It's mostly the big dogs and even they don't smell if you take good care of them. It's also important to take good care of their teeth and brush them because bad breath with dogs is the worst thing ever and that can happen to any breed

Poodles do not smell. I didn't really believe that a dog couldn't smell until I got one.

Other breeds that I'm told don't smell are Bichon Frisé, Schnauzers, Irish Water Spaniel, Portuguese Water Dog, and some curly types of terrier.

I still don't believe they don't smell... ive never come across a dog that doesnt have some sort of light dog smell to it.
