OCD? Resource guarding? Batshit crazy? Really, I don't see how any of those things could possibly be funny. The dog looks miserable to me. Different stokes, I guess.

Exactly. I find it completely not funny. The dog seems to have some serious OCD issues or other issues. Repeatedly attacking your own foot is going to have long-term bad consequences at times he was really biting it, so I'd say the chances of injury are pretty darn high.

It's funny for about the first 5 seconds, then it gets sad, then alarming.

The person is hidden behind the chair the dog is in and, IIRC also pushing from behind. I think this is one I viewed frame-by-frame and saw fingers.
