 Emergency recall dog command?1 replies Anonymous: Hi has anyone here taught his dog an emergency recall dog command? I've read about it a little and they say it shouldn't be used on a daily basis but only in emergencies like when your dog is about to run in front of a moving car. But if the command isn't used often, won't the dog forget it when there's an emergency?Mine is not trained to do that but he responds well to a simple 'come'. Dogs have good memory so I believe as long as he was trained well, with lots of praise and positive reinforcement, he shouldn't forget this command.  Regular Participant240 | Have a question?
