Help! Best "Non-Trackable" Litter?

Hi, folks. Long-time lurker!
I began using World's Best six months ago, mainly for odor control (and the convenience of flushing isn't too bad either).

However, it easily gets mooshed in their paws and then it's deposited throughout the house. No room is safe! ;-)
I keep the box in the bathroom and after a few days the floor resembles a very tiny desert.
A friend uses Feline Pine and said it doesn't track at all. I don't know much about "crystal" litters‹are they any good? I somehow get the feeling a crystal litter would not absorb odors as well as non-crystal.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

We use "litter pearls" and while they're a little more expensive they're so worth it. They resemble, well, pearls... so they are heavier, do not get tracked very far, and NEVER get forever wedged into the carpet the way the "sand" does. The only issue is they might roll around on a hardwood floor and sometimes the cats play with them, but otherwise they're fine. We have
5 cats and the odor isn't bad at all.

You can also buy other varieties of silica litter that isn't in the oval/round 'pearl' form - doesn't roll like Litter Pearls. (One of my cats tipped over a litter box-ful of Litter Pearls one time - what a mess! They rolled all over the place.)

The crystals type litter absorbs the odors extremely well.
