Help needed with a bored dogThis is a discussion thread · 1 replies Anonymous: I have a Westie who tends to be bored when no one can play with him. He doesn't want to play with his toys, he just ignores them. We walk him two or three times a day for 30-40 mins and he's OK within about 2 hours after a walk but then he starts walking around the house asking us to play fetch or tug with him. If he's ignored, he'll steal things. It's been so for four months. Any advice on how to teach him to busy himself? Are you sure he's bored or is he just resting? When you are playing with him, is he fully engaged? Maybe he needs to go to a dog park and run around and get out more of his energy. | Have a question? People are waiting to help.
