Handsome \Jack\ Morrison:
[nq:1]But there is some very good pros about the whole sleeping with infants thing. Like the bonding points.[/nq]
The Morrison clan prefers to bond during our waking hours, thankyouverymuch.

Indeed
but I am really intrigued with the term
"pixilated"! LOL I had never heard that
one until Mary posted the link!
Like I said lots of people I know
use 4 letter words to describe one
or both conditions,
ie "F'd up last night
S#*T faced
etc.
Go CUBS.
And let's fry that fan last night.

[nq:1]If I were Eric I would dig out some statistics about babies being smothered when they sleep with adults.[/nq]
Well I wish someone would dig up those statistics. They might find that babies accidentally smothered by adults rolling over on them in bed are rare to the point of non-existance.

Yeah, but I am not one to use vulgarity.
I think I am going to do I was pixied... heehehe

[nq:2]No. This is a product of your imagnination. Cut it out.[/nq]
[nq:1]surely my brane wouldn't dream up something that inane? or would it? oh hell, nevermind.[/nq]
We TOLD you and TOLD you not to mess with that Krell machine. That it was for display purposes only. But, oh, no, YOU knew better. YOU wanted to be free from instrumentality.
Now see what happens? You've released another Monster of the ID onto r.p.d.b. Like we don't have enough of the damn things running around.

[nq:2]Mary Healey said in rec.pets.dogs.behavior: People of my parents' generation used "stoned" for drunk.[/nq]
[nq:1]Apparently, "stoned" can be either (http://www.m-w.com/cgi-bin/thesaurus?book=Thesaurus&va=stoned ). "Juiced" seems to refer exlusively to overindulgence in alcohol (http://www.m-w.com/cgi-bin/thesaurus?book=Thesaurus&va=juiced ). I take some little comfort knowing that I'm younger than your parents...[/nq]
Harlan misunderstood what was meant by stoned. I had to make him put the rocks away.
Not sure what he was thinking; he throws like a girl.

On the internet, we're all ageless.

Chicha:
[nq:1]But then you go on to list YOUR rules for YOUR dog in YOUR house, as if that was some sort of universally-accepted "way it is". Silly human.[/nq]
[nq:2]Example: Rule number 7: Rule number 6: Rule number 12:[/nq]
[nq:1]IMO, it takes a certain personality to name AND number rules for their dog(s).[/nq]
ROTFL. Do you REALLY think I keep such a list?
Silly you.
I just checked HER diary, of course. :-)
[nq:2]But Shelly, love, when you keep telling me that one mustn't have reasons to forbid one's dog to sleep in one's bed[/nq]
[nq:1]Not "mustn't". Reasons are unnecessary, because everything is covered under the all-purpose, handy-dandy, and ever-popular "BECAUSE I SAID SO". Sanitation, ... dog off the bed. Nobody needs to know why, nobody cares why, and your dog sure doesn't require an explanation.[/nq]
It is black and white vision.
All the thread as dumb as it is started from my
perverted reaction to Matt's question:
[nq:1]Neither. In the arena of personal choice, one's as good as the other.[/nq]
I agree with that.
