Anonymous: I have a 3 year old cat. We're about to move soon and I wonder what can be done to minimize his stress. The problem is that we've been living in a house where he could go outside and interact with other cats. The new home is a flat so there will be no access to the outside (too many dogs around). What can we do to help him get used to this new environment if anything? Thanks.About the only thing you can do is give him lots of things to keep him occupied and active. A cat tree, a shelf in a window, toys, and especially YOU. Play with him, interact with him, and pet him. He will get used to being indoors pretty quickly ... mine did. some people believe it's ok for a cat to live indoors only and since cats are adaptable i''m sure yours will be fine ^_^just make sure he doesn't feel abandoned ![]() Animal Admirer263 | Have a question?
