 How much liver?2 replies Is giving liver (except pork) ok 2 times a week? Not much, 20g perhaps. Now I heard giving liver more than once a month is too much. Any experts can give me some solid info?  Junior Participant21 Anonymous: Hi.  Liver should not be fed in large amounts and should not be given on a frequent basis. Give liver to Toebe as a treat once in a while, and he will be fine. 20 grams of liver a few times a week is just fine. So don't worry about that.
