![]() How often do have your rabbit's teeth shortened? This question has been answered · 3 replies As the title states, am wondering if any rabbit owners can let me know how often in average you have your rabbit's teeth shortened at the vet? ![]() Newcomer06 Approved answer (verified by Punkybrewster) Anonymous: You don't have to have them clipped unless they are too long, which is called mallocollusion, and the teeth become crooked, and very long. Either that or they meet instead of the top incisors overlapping the bottom incisors. If the rabbit has either wood or a chew toy they should be fine. Or you can just give them hay regularly to keep them worn. ALL REPLIES Tigg: Only if they get too long. Your rabbit should have wooden chew toys or a toothbone to wear down his teeth naturally.![]() Junior Participant38 | Have a question? People are waiting to help.
