I'm not an expert but 1) why can it be unethical? 2) that depends on how young the cat is, her temperament, and if she has travelled before. Some cats react to trips fine but some may cope with them worse. Will you be allowed to take the kitty with you inside the airplane? Good if so. Before you take her for the trip, spend some time getting her used to the crate you're going to use for transportation. Let her smell it, explore it, etc. Place her favourite blanket or toy inside so she's not afraid to enter it. I'm sure she'll be fine. I've heard cats are capable of travelling for up to 8 hours! Although it's not recommended unless there's no other choice.

Travelling is stress for people too sometimes but it's not something you call unethical! Emotion: smile Just do it when you have to but of course not like every week.
