Is Evo for cats okay to give to ferrets?This is a discussion thread · 3 replies Anonymous: I decided to compare two Innova Evo foods, the one I give to my cat and the one I give to my ferret. To my surprise, they have very similar ingredients! Not fully identical but very close. Cat formula is a lot cheaper than ferret formula so I thought if it's OK for give cat Innova Evo to my ferret? Cat and ferret formulas may have different veggie and other additives even though the main ingredients look similar. What is good for cats may be bad for ferrets.I am not a ferret expert but they say don't give cat food to dogs and vice versa so common sense suggests the same goes for other animals. Anonymous: Either way you go Evo is great food. It has 95% meat and the rest are fruits and veggies. They aren't enough to do damage. I feed cat/kitten formula and I'm happy with it.
