Janet Boss:
We lost my sweet boy today. I was still there with Lucy (who had gotten to lick him and say hi) when they started the splenectomy, or what was going to be the splenectomy. He had two large tumors in his intestine. One was massive and inoperable and bleeding, hence the anemia. I wanted him to go in peace, so we didn't wake him up, but said goodbye then. I feel hollow.
I thank you all for your thoughts and wishes and wish I could report a better outcome.
