 RE: mating my cat? page 29 replies 1 2 There is absolutely no reason to mate him, cats are not people and after neutering do not feel any difference but they do feel much calmer. mating him before neutering will just cause him to continue to exhibit an intact cat behavior (meowing, marking etc) and not because he feels the need because that's what he is used to. Kitty season is around the corner and there are more then enough kittens that are homeless and that will be homeless there is no need to add to that, whichever vet told you that might be too old fashioned. | Have a question?
