Mongrel dogs are most socialble

Cross-breed and mongrel dogs are amazing in terms of sociability. They will love to interact with you by any means. A rare pedigree dog can be compared with such a devoteness. Mongrel dogs are funnier, more playful, and more affectionate than Shepherds, Rottweilers, Giant Schnauzers, or even Russian Terriers. Feeding a mongrel dog is cheaper than feeding a pedigree one. So why do people want to get pedigree dogs? I just can't get it!

I'm sorry but ... what?

My shepherd is very sociable, loves people, other animals and is VERY playful. She doesn't cost that much to feed either.

I also own 2 mongrels (a collie x and an old english mastiff/dogue de bordeaux). My collie x is not fond of children and barks a lot. My mastiff is dog aggressive - and she's only 3 months old. I'm taking her to puppy classes and upping her socialisation to counteract this.

I love all my dogs the same. I could care less what breeds they are - I love them for what they are; Dogs. They are my friends and my family. They are loyal to me and I am loyal to them.

A purebred dog deserves as much love as a mongrel and vice versa so why shouldn't people go for a purebred dog if they want them?

I'm not sure what you're basing this on but it's very confusing!!!

I think it all depends on a specific dog. Dogs of the same breed can have quite opposite characters, as well as dogs of different breeds can behave very alike. They are not so dirrefent from people on this point.

I was talking basing on my own experience of owning dogs and also on my friends's experience. If you have had different dogs and my post seems nonsense to you, well, it only means that my experience was narrow for somereason. So thank you for your opinion. But all the dogs I've known, mongrels are the best among them.
I hope you don't think I was attacking you, I wasn't Emotion: smile

I agree mongrels make wonderful pets! But so do purebreds.

I really wish there were no mongrels or purebreds...dogs are dogs and should be treated the same no matter their parentage x

Maybe our highest priority should be treating all human beings the same.Dogs love unconditionally

something human beings don't do.

Do mongrel dogs grow tall?

I guess it depends on the size of its parents.
