No really, I can't get it. There are cats. There are dogs. There are hamsters, and rabits after all. Even parrots. But why snakes?..

Hi I purchased my Anery corn snake who's name is Indie three weeks ago and feed her every Tuesday. She has taken every feed iv given her with no problems. I fed her Tuesday and on the Wednesday night she was sat there for a minute with her mouth wide open and then closed it and has not done this since. I have checked her vivarium and found no vomit is the fact that she was sat with her mouth open any thing to worry about

So I just got a baby fancy corn snake yesterday (Saturday). We put her in the tank and right away she burrowed. She's been in the same spot for the past two days, but she does moved her head so I know she is still alive. How long does it usually take for her to get used to her new home?

I have a new corn snake his names Bruce and I'm a very impatient person so of course when I woke up the first day I wanted to handle him haha. He seems very relaxed and just curious of my room I didn't hold him to long because I just don't wanna overwhelm him his first week. But I'm also a very big worrier and wanted to know if when they burrow and poke there head up if they sleep with there heads up or if he's just checking me out haha? And also he does this mostly on the cooler 70 degree side and I have the other sitting at 80 but can't seem to get either side 5 degrees warmer with a pad and a light on warm side. He has pooped once in his cage after I handled him but was fed two days prior so that seems normal. Just wondering if he's supposed to sleep with his head up and if I'm doing everything correctly.
