Judy F:
Does anyone have any suggestions for treats for cats? I've tried lots of catnip flavored treats and my cats just ignore them. The only thing they get excited about are Friskies Dental diet dry food (those yellow balls), but I'd like to have some variety.
thanks

Rowan adores those Temptations or whatever they're called - hard on the outside and soft on the inside.
Jeffrey likes the crunchy fish-shaped ones that come in a can that looks kinda like a small Pringles container. I forget the name.

All the kids prefer beef, chicken or liver to fish flavored treats.

Wysong makes a cat treat. Or, you could make your own from dehydrated liver.

Both Jack and Rizzo inhale the Purina "Whisker Lickin's" crunchy/tartar control treats consistently, where their appetite for other kinds comes and goes. They especially like the crabcake flavor, but like the chicken and tuna as well. A big bag is less than $2 and is available just about any place that has pet food.

What is it about Friskies Dental Diet? I got a sample bag in the mail, and the cats just went nuts over it. So I bought a small box and just kind of dole them out as treats. It can't taste that good, it's just dry cat food. Not even the best quality dry cat food either.

I know, and it kind of smells bad, but my cats love it, and the stray I'm feeding eats those out of the bowl first (I mix them with Iams for him)... Then he comes back for the Iams. I hope it really is doing something for their teeth...

Casey absoltely adores the Salmon flavored "Luv" brand that Purina makes...not sure if they are available in USA, but they are all over in in Canada..
