Hi!
I have two great cats named Agnes and Colby. Colby is her son from the first litter she had about a year and a half ago. He is sometimes bully towards his mom but on a closer look it's obvious he's just playing and Agnes can keep him under control usually. Agnes is now pregnant again and we've noticed Colby has become more aggressive towards her so I'm worried what is going to happen when the kittens arrive. Should I separate Colby from his mom and her new babies?
What's the nature behind this aggression anyway? Jealousy? How can he know she's pregnant? The belly isn't too big just yet.
I've already found 5 good homes for the kittens if there are 5. The previous kittens went to good homes too and I'm in touch with all of them. Emotion: it wasnt me
oh yes separate them!! the momma cat will need a safe place for herself and her kittens after she gives birth and male cats can be sorta hazardous especially if they are not neutered. it's not jealousy it's smth to do with their natural behavior when male cats be protective of their territory and the newborns are not always welcome.
great to know you've already found them homes Emotion: smile
