What treats do you feed your cat?This is a discussion thread · 3 replies Don't you just love it how excited our cats get when you bring out the bag of goodies.  What treats do you give them? I give Miky chicken hearts, bonito flakes, cheese, catnip, and air popped popcorn (bland with no oils). What's on your list?I don't EVER feed anything with corn to my cats, it's just not healthy for them. I only give mine grain free treats of different brands. Some are freeze dried, meat as the only ingredient. Not even once a month? I believed it's fine as long as it's not daily!   That's up to you. I am just firmly against feeding corn to my pets for any reason. Corn contains so much sugar and even too much is not good for people. Cats can't metabolize sugar that well. But it's certainly not toxic. As I said, it's everyone's choice but for me, I won't do it. They don't even miss it. The treats I give them are 100% meat and only meat and they are very happy with that. These two NEVER beg me for human food. I started them off right as kittens. No scraps, unless it's bland meat, no spices or anything. Even then, not too much of it.  | Have a question? People are waiting to help.
