Why gecko stop eating?

had him or her for about 7 years. Always been healthy and actively pursue meal worms and crickets. For last 3 week he has not eaten. He will leave his den when he hears me remove the cover and look around, but isnt interested in the wiggling meal worms at all. He might flick his tongue on them once and move on. His tail is still fairly fat. This behavior has not happened before in the prior 7 years.
any thoughts on what the cause or what to do?
thanks

Are you sure that the temperature high/low is the same as it has been?

Reptiles should not eat if they can't get the belly warmed up enough for good digestion.

I get some going like that, i know all my snakes do as its coming upto mating season from being cooled and not fed for months

most pet lep gex are really fat, much more so than wild ones, so 3 weeks isnt bad, hes using his reserve. although it will still be drinking water etc.
i cant see it being a tumur, as such, as when i had gex with them, they would still eat, to feed the tumur...
