The past 5 nights (just at night when we are in bed) she starts panting and her heart is beating very fast. She has me give her water, but about an hour later she starts panting again and looks at me like she is scared. This goes on all night. My vet suggested 1/2 a Benadryl at bedtime. That worked only 1 night, now even after Benadryl she does the allo night panting. Could this be a panic attack?

Trying to pick a dog - any suggestions welcome?

Hello, I would like to pick the perfect dog as an addition to our family. We would like one that does not smell, and is a small to medium sized, such as a a beagle, labrador, or spaniel. Also, one that is not dominant, is timid, and does not bark as much, and does not require lots of activity. Also, one that is very sociable, and good with young children. Quite a large wish list isn't it Does anyone have any suggestions as to breeds that might be suitable please?

What is the regulation markings?

What is the regulation markings on weave poles?

10 year old staffy?

Hi, my dog is now 10 and over the last few weeks has started to rip flooring up pull things down from benches etc when we are not at home. We do not know what happened to him. And we were only like a day from getting him fixed. He left the house Sunday afternoon and just never came back. Well, after about a month or so, I decided on getting a new dog. She's still a puppy and a bit hyper but she is really good with our other animals...too bad they don't like her. We're actually getting rid of our male Chi because he keeps jumping on her for no reason. He did it this morning while I was on the floor with the baby and came close to biting my son...that was the tipping point for me. Now, when I say get rid of, I do mean re-homing of course. If all else fails, we'll take him to the shelter near where we live. Talking to your dog, you call yourself Daddy or Mommy. Nothing can be seen through the rear window of your car because it's all in noseprints of your dog. You call your dog with 32 different names and none of them makes sense. But your dog responds to them. You like people that like your dog. You despite people that don't like it.
