![]() One of the most beautiful birds in the world, swans form monogamous pair bonds that last for many years, and in some cases for their entire life. The size of the clutch is usually 4 to 7 eggs. The cygnets learn to fly when their flight feathers have fully grown. This happens at about four and a half months of age. The birds reach maturity at about 2-3 years of age. By this time, their plumage should be completely white. ![]() Photo by Sander van der Wel ![]() Photo by Tom Rodman ![]() Photo by Lars Christopher Nøttaasen ![]() Photo by Tyler Ingram ![]() Photo by rkramer62 ![]() Photo by Tyler Ingram ![]() Photo by David Allen ![]() Photo by Tyler Ingram ![]() Photo by Paruula ![]() Photo by Pignouflette ![]() Photo by Verity Borthwick ![]() Photo by Melody Koert ![]() Photo by Dominic Tootell ![]() Photo by Ben Ellwood ![]() Photo by Jenni Douglas ATT WEBMASTERS: We are flattered that quite a few websites have liked our article ideas and have decided to copy them onto their websites.
