What are your feelings towards rats? Are they nice or disgusting?

Snoring doesn't seem a human habit only, but our pets can snore too at times. What about you dog?

They say it is necessary to disinfect a cage at least once a month (I may be mistaken because I don't have a rodent myself). So how do you do that?
