I have a western painted turtle, eats and is active, but a couple of days ago it started floating, it tries to swim underwater, but floats back up. floats evenly on top of water. Water temp is 76 degrees, basking is about 91 degrees.

I have a 4 week old nile monitor baby.I just purchased him yesterday. How many crickets should he eat during 1 feeding. Does he need to eat daily?
  Interesting pet! Yes he needs to be fed daily and since it's still a baby you need to offer as much as it will feed, so I can't give you an exact amount. Also: dust some calcium or multi-vitamin supplement on the insects.
Anonymous Hey thanks, Its been a couple of weeks now. My baby nile monitor is doing great, He eats 5-6 large crickets a day. I do have the crickets dusted with the calcium supplement.
