Why do hamsters stink? How can I keep my male dwarf hamster from stinking! I woke up this morning and his cage stinked really bad! And I clean he's cage every week
Try cleaning it more often, once every 3 or 4 days. If your hamster poops and pees in the same spot, get a hamster litter box and scoop it as often as you find to be necessary. That will keep the rest of the cage clean for a longer time.

hi there guys like 10 years ago i remember i heard somewhere that one should never ever keep a hamster and a budgerigar as pets at the same time because if a budgie by accident eats a hammy's feces, it will die. is that true?? i've always been ...
Can you remember where you heard about it? This is news to me and I'd have to double check if it's true.
All I can say is that I know people who keep both hamsters and budgies at the same time and they've not got any life threatening problems.

Heya guys, This Tuesday my hamster found a piece of an eggshell on the table and quickly ate it. Then he did the same on Wednesday and Friday. Is it fine that he does it? Is it safe?
I wouldn't say it's safe because eggshells have sharp edges and they can injure his mouth. It's going to be extremely difficult to treat. Try offering him dog biscuits instead. Incidentally, it's never a good idea to let your hamster roam free on ...
Thx! I'll make sure he doesn't get eggshells again, what you said doesn't sound like a good perspective.

what vaccinations do hamsters have
There are no vaccinations for hamsters. They don't need shots.
They do not actually need vaccinations since they are usually indoors and are fairly healthy. I would avoid getting close to them if you catch a cold or something just so they won't catch it from you and keep their cage as clean as possible ...
