medge Chinchillas are wonderful pets but are quite difficult to look after as they require specialist care & diet. Have a look some special chinchilla websites which give lots of information on chinchillas & how to look after them. There are many ...
Hello all! I was wondering if there were any other rat owners out there who have had problems with mycoplasmosis? My two girls have just recently had to go to the vets for antibiotic and anti-inflammatory shots as they were wheezing and sneezing ...
Anonymous Hey found this, hope it helps: Mycoplasmosis caught and treated early is easily controlled with antibiotics. It is not uncommon for a rat to live a very long time with Myco as long as each bout is controlled with antibiotics. Some rats have been ...
kieru Thanks for your help I'll be keeping a close eye on both girls so that we can always catch their symptoms early if it flares up again!

I'm medge, I live in North Oxfordshire with my husband & son. My daughter has now flown the nest to pastures new - the seaside at Brighton to attend Uni. I was an active volunteer in my local animal rescue charity until a change of health last year. I have a veritable menagerie of animals - 2 dogs, 7 cats, 3 rabbits, 2 chinchillas, 1 rat & 1 Syrian hamster. I also loook after my daughter's pets that she couldn't take to Brighton with her - 1 cat, 2 goldfish, a fresh water mussel & a water snail!
