So does your cat try to drink from toilet? Do you allow it to? I've always wondered what makes Barsik do it from time to time (he does have fresh water in the bowl), and I still have no explanation lol. Any thoughts? We try to discourage him from ...
i guess that makes sence lol crazy cats but i refresh my cats water a few times a day anyway pretty much everytime i go in the kitchen lol...
No one knows for sure why cats do this. Toilet water may taste fresher than stagnant water because it's changed with each flush. I think it's OK as long as you don't use chemical cleaners. If it really bothers you, keep the lid down.
Only one of my cats do this. And i think he only does it when he is thirsty cause the dogs like to drink all the water that I put down. But, yeah. It is extremely yucky. >.>

my cat pickle likes rubbing her upper back by tail area against certain objects, she arches her back and holds tail up and stans still. my other cat blaze has been kneading on me, my belly, the blankets and upper back part of furnitures for the ...
I'm not sure about the rubbing but I have seen cats do that before, I guess it just feels good. As for the kneading, that is something that is usually influenced by their kitten hood, they will do that motion while nursing from their mother to ...
I've never thought rubbing and kneading to be a problem. I've always thought this is how cats express their pleasure and satisfaction.
I wouldn't call it a problem but it is definitely happening for a reason cats that suckle on shirts or their owners skin are also cats that have gone through something in their kitten hood, I don't believe they are suffering or anything like that ...

Hi all. We had our cat Marley neutered on Wednesday morning. He was all right on that day. The vet prescribed Hills diet for a day or two while he'd be recovering, and then switching him to his usual food again. I didn't get the idea of this but we ...
I don't know why he had to be switched at all just because he was neutered, I've never heard of that. Go back to his usual grain free food immediately, I think anyway. Hill's is SO full of garbage his poor tummy probably can't take it. If his ...
I'd call the vet and tell him all that has happened and ask why he wanted to switch the food and if it's okay to give him his grain free food again. I'd also try to find another vet and consult with him. It sounds strange to me that your vet ...
Thanks for your prompt replies. I knew I shouldn't have switched the food and I wouldn't have done it if it wasn't a vet suggesting that! I was going to give him a call but wanted to have more opinions too. Thanks again.
