At what age do you start calling a cat a senior?

RuslanaThat made me wonder how I should call...
Call him Yoda. Emotion: big smile Seriously your cat is a feline supercentenarian...
Woah 18 years! The oldest cat I've ever had was 13.
It would be between the age of 7-10, Usually at around 8 years old it is a good idea to start visit the vet once every 6 months-year for a check out.

 Hi,
I don't think there's anything better than brushing your cat daily and cleaning the apartment regularly... You should also look into your cat's diet. Poor diets can be a reason of heavy shedding provided there are no other underlying health ...
A Furminator works wonders at getting the undercoat and yes, daily brushings!!!
Frequent brushing and frequent cleaning. I don't think there's anything better than that. I hope your mom doesn't get rid of the cat...

Hello all! How do you feel about cat memes? They are so popular in the net, and I really like some of them. The rest I find to be boring or stupid even. Am I the only one who thinks so?

Hi, yesterday we noticed a weird thing. Our cat doesn't seem to be able to yawn like usual! He'll either stop mid way with a startle as if he had sudden pain, or will yawn turning his head to the right slightly. What can this be?? He's 13 years old.
Oh poor thing! I've heard cats can have problems chewing and opening their mouth when they have otitis or dental problems. Emotion: sad Are there other symptoms? I hope that's nothing serious but I'd take him to a vet!
Anonymous I dunno what was wrong but he looks better today. Thanks for your reply!

Is it true that wild cats don't have bladder stones? Why?
Where did you learn this? I've never heard about it!
By wild cats do you mean feral cats or big cats like tigers? In either case, I won't be surprised if that's true because both feral and wild cats have a more natural diet than most domestic cats. They also have more physical exercise. I don't know ...
Yup I think the same thing, the dry food that domesticated cat's usually eat is the main reason they get bladder and kidney stones and that's because of all of the fillers and stuff and well, the lack of meat. I wouldn't think feral cats don't ...
