Our 3 month old male kitten is obsessed with constantly trying to nurse off of our grown-up neutered male cats. The grown-up cats don't seem to mind, he burrows into their chest & stomach like a tick, maybe they think it's a massage. But this seems odd. We've had many cats of all ages & temperments, never seen this before. Will he grow out of it? His sister, smaller than he is, does not do the "nursing" thing. They were both with their mother (feral) till about 6 weeks old. He's also very shy and not very sociable except with the other cats. His sister is very outgoing & seems very happy & well-adjusted. He seems sad & disturbed. Any advice greatly appreciated.

I think by doing that to the other cats it's his way of calming down, finding peace, keeping balance. He might be more connected to other cats than humans right now. I think as long as the other cats don't mind you should let him do it. Because if you make him stop this he might get even more disturbed.

Has he had any bad experiences before you got him that you know of?
