... until Cenau's official debut in agility competition. AAH!
In class, he's capable of doing sequences of 8-10 obstacles on Elite-level courses. He seeks obstacles, can do 12 weaves at speed, no wires (still needs work on angled entries, of course); has 2/2 contacts on full-height dogwalk and A-frame (occasional pop-offs still, but has a solid understanding of my criteria); understands that a verbal "walk it" means "choose the contact obstacle" and that "ssh!" means "choose the tunnel"; has a decent beginner's understanding of "switch", "go on", "here", "easy", and "wait".
All of which is phenomenal, given that I've owned him for 8 months and he had no training of any sort (other than to run away when off leash); he gives every indication of being that rarity, a dog who's a "natural" for the sport.
I'm not actually expecting any qualifying runs, but it's high time for the team (e.g. Cen and myself) to get ring experience.

But still.. AAHHH!

cool bean - I want video!

I'm hoping to get some - unfortunately, since it's Easter weekend and indoors on Astroturf, a lot of my buddies won't be there.
. Have fun and good luck.

HE will have fun. :-D I will too, once I get over the ring nerves.

You'd think, given that this is my 4th time "debuting" a dog, I'd be over that, but noo.
(I have only one other dog atm, who is 14 and mostly retired; one of the others died 3 years ago, one last summer.)
Love your tunnel command! lol

As you most likely figured out, it's the first syllable of the word "chute". ;-)
