Hi all, Can anyone help me? My yard is visited by many birds, all very peaceful and beautiful. For well over a month a large red cardinal has been aggressively hitting all the windows in my home, with the exception of the two large doorwalls leading to the back deck. This behavior starts at about 6:00am and continues for most of the day. The bird is making a mess of the windows not to mention the tapping is frustrating to listen to all day. I would be very thankful for any information anyone has to share.
Thanks Carol
Cardinals are very territorial. When he sees his reflection in the window, he thinks it's another bird, invading his space. Put something on the window, to prevent his seeing "another bird." They also do this on chrome car bumpers. He's "just being a bird." Be patient, it will pass. Emotion: smile
