Spenser likes to curl up with his feet tucked into hand.

My brother's dog (Shazz, Boston Terrier) likes to lie lengthwise on your thighs, froggie position, and smush her face into your legs or crotch, depending on which way she's facing. She proceeds to snore very loudly.

The cutest thing I saw was when he had come over to visit us. He fell asleep on the floor, face down, with Pan resting her big old head and neck on his lower back. They stayed that way for a long time, which wouldn't have happened with me - her head is pretty heavy, and I have a hard time breathing when she rests it on me.

I put my legs out on the coffee table, and cross my ankles. Bear will lie along them with his head about at my knees and we'll watch TV together.

But occasionally he'll sit facing me, then rear back and plop down backwards on my legs, lying with his feet in the air. He'll do this when I'm in my swivel chair with my feet on the desk, where it's a three foot drop to the floor.
Always makes me nervous, and I really wish he'd start checking to see whether my legs were in the proper position before he starts...

Only justice, and not safety, is consistent with liberty, because safety can be secured only by prior restraint and punishment of the innocent, while justice begins with liberty and the concomitant presumption of innocence and imposes punishment only after the fact. - Jeffrey Snyder
