I have an 8 week old Labrador Puppy that thinks playing involves bitin anything and anyone, you think he's calmed down and then he strike again..It hurts!! Don't get me wrong he can be very loving too but cant cope with all the scratches and bites..Can anyone help??

We stopped our lab puppy from biting by yelping when he bit us. It worked really quickly. We were told that if we yelped then he would realise that humans have very sensitive skin and he would stop. Thats how puppies find boundaries with each other. It was the best advice we got with him. -) Jenn
also ignoring the pup for about 30 seconds after you yelp can help, ignoring is the best way to let a pup know that he has done something wrong. it is a message that gets through to them.
