Hello,

Has anyone come across the problem of a cat peeing without an obvious reason? My cat just loves peeing in front of the door daily even though we provide her with a clean litter box every day. Any tips on what we can do? Why is she doing this?? The flat has become a disaster because my husband and I usually come home in the evening (we both work, no children) and so every coming back is supplemented with a nice surprise... while the pee has enough time to get absorbed and spread its odour... help!!! I love my cat but I love my home too and dont want it to be saturated with Eau de Fluffy!

Hey Sarah,

It seems that she pees at the same place all the time? I don't think it's a health problem (although a vet check would never be excessive!).
Considering that you're out a lot, maybe this is the way she wants to get more attention... it's like a SOS signal... perhaps she wants to remind you where home is and that the fur ball needs more love. Emotion: smile What breed is that, by the way?

She's not neutered, is she? Have you tried taking her to a vet? Maybe some health problems there are.
