I guess it becomes smaller and unnoticeable under the fur but i don't think it could totally disappear...that would be just weird!
LOL nice post! They are born with a belly button and it actually kind of closes with time and leaves like a little scar! the lighter their skin is the more it's gonna blend in and the harder it's gonna be to notice it once they get older. I could take a picture of Eliot's belly button if you want to see it on a full grown cat, its actually really interesting! Emotion: smile
Yes please take a picture. I hope Eliot won't mind?
Joleen that's a great idea! I can't wait for a picture now! By the way what's also interesting is that we can check things like this on a hairless cat, it would have never dawned on me if you didn't have one. Emotion: giggle
Oh LOL Eliot doesn't mind anything, I can literally walk around the house holding him hanging upside down and he will just stay there and purr Emotion: big smile

I took some pictures I hope you guys can see, His belly is more of a pink shade so you can still see it but it's basically just a white scar

Oh boy, I've never seen a cat from this angle. Great idea Joleen, thanks for posting! By the way I thought Sphynx cats were too active and self assured to be carried upside down to enjoy it. Emotion: big smile
Well they are not psycho active it's not like they spend the day running around they sleep quite a lot just like any other cat but they are more active and playful compared to other cats. And if you make sure to spend the day playing with them and draining energy, by the end of the day they are all about cuddling with you. He was actually in the middle of playing when I took the pictures but I just put him on his back and he stayed there until I was done and then went back to playing Emotion: smile

Hahaha I'm laughing my head off just imagining it!
Thanks for the photos! It doesn't even look like a scar to me to be frank, more like a birthmark.
How cool is that! Thanks for the pictures, Joleen. It's no surprise I couldn't find it on Miky, there's just too much hair on him to notice such a small scar! To speak honestly I was thinking their belly buttons were as deep as in humans. Emotion: embarrassed
