Does your cat wear a collar? Or you prefer to avoid this for some reason?
Cotton wears a quick release collar. It's very handy as she is an indoor cat and with 2 very big dogs I like to hear where she is!

Oh I love this photo, Sarah! She's nearly posing, and her collar is very nice. Emotion: smile Hmm I thought collars could be useful for outdoor cats only. Perhaps we didn't need it because our flat was rather small and there were not many places to hide, so we always knew where our kitty was. Later on, when we got a larger place, I guess it became a habit and, in fact, I'm not sure if Barsik would have accepted wearing something like that.
Oh no I'd be lost if Cotton didn't wear a collar. It's a warning system for me. Because she's indoor and in that stage where she wants to go out if I don't hear her coming up behind me when I let the dogs out she'll be out before I know it!

Some cats don't need to wear collars, not sure why my mum insists on it with her cats as most are indoor and she hasn't got any large dogs lol!
So does it really help a lot? I mean, the bell is indeed very clear and you can hear her coming even if she's just coming, i.e. not jumping or making other "loud" movements, etc? Hmm I'd fancy that the bell would be heard only when a cat's active at the moment. Emotion: smile
Oh yeah I know when she's coming as it makes a certain jingle when she's running ... and of course the noise gets louder as she gets closer to the door Emotion: wink

Because she starts running faster and faster? Emotion: big smile
