Two days later (isn't analogue technology grand!), here it is:

only two (2) days?! your analog technology works lots better than mine.

As it happened, the 25th picture on a 24 roll was about to happen, and I knew it. I took the pic, the camera rewound all by itself, and then I drove by Zellers - not once, but twice! On the way home!

Wow! It is so clean and organized!

Yes! It's organized!
Clean? Nuh uh.

Well, Matt,
If you ever want to take a vacation to the land of heat and humidity you can see an unorganized mess. And I'll let you clean it and organize it!

Friday and I'll be seeing enough heat and humidity in a few weeks, thankyouverymuch: Montreal in August - 100F and 90% !!
And I'll let you clean it and organize it!

Why would I organise and clean someone else's mess when I don't organise and clean my own? I think that the heat and humidity has given you a case of the vapors. Maybe you should lie down for a while.
HTH!

What's this? Matt is driving to N'Awlins?! Beth is already IN N'Awlins?
Hint: If you wear glasses of any kind, you will need an anti-fog wipe of some sort when you step outside.
Oh.You mean it's that much heat and humidity elsewhere other than N'Awlins right now!
Okaythen.

I'll be taking a handful of daily-wear contact lenses with me. The other weekend, I did an agility trial in 100degF heat with only 30% humidity (high for here). Everyone was wilting.

N'Awlins is a neat way to say "Richmond."
Actually today isn't too bad. It has been raining off and on and is only in the upper 70s. I think we have some other place's weather by mistake.

We're drizzly and in the 60s here! Now mind you, Thursday we had to call class (we teach in an unairconditioned indoor facility) beause the heat index was 105 and it was unbearable. Yet tonight it's supposed to drop into the 50s. In July for doG's sake!
But I do admit, I'm very much enjoying the change...

As I stepped outside last week at SFO,I realized how long I'd been away.San Francisco is July in c-c-c cold, and I had forgotten that.
In fact, prior to that I'd been in Boise and expecting normal weather July weather, I'd packed only skirts and shorts and one pair of jeans. I ended up wearing jeans most of the time.

Of course,I knew I was home when I stepped outside of Louis Armstrong airport immediately.
The dogs show absolutely no inclination to venture outside much after 10am and until after 8pm or so.
Just lay around on the cold floor, soaking up the AC,much like me.

(Except for the laying on the floor thing.)
