I have a 5 year old husky who is the biggest sweetheart MOST of the time, he is very good with me and my wife but there have been a few incidences where he has bitin people without any warning, thankfully is was friends who would never sue but i am very nervous that one day he will bite the wrong person and cause extreme consequences for himself and me(the owner). The last bite which was the worst happened when i was out of town and my neighbor friend agreed to dog sit, my friend was on the couch, dog approached him and when he went to pet him he lunged at his face and caused significant damage(plastic surgery). The dog knows my friend well so i was shocked at the incident. I feel like the dog gets anxious and scared if we(the owners) aren't around. Other times is has been bites over food or toys. I am very scared for the future of my pup, Is there anything i can do to prevent this besides keeping him away from all people except myself?
