Good luck on the baby front... yes, sturdy is important when your driving kids and dogs Emotion: smile
My Dad has an Outback and they love it.. I think they are very nice, but after my run in with the logging truck, I opted out of that size for a Surburban. Yes, yes, I know, it's a gas hog, so true, but I don't commute (mainly just errands around here for me) and I feel that the kidlets and I are safe should another giant truck feel the need to ride along in the back seat!

Holy crap. Sounds like you're lucky to be around.

Yeah, circumstances in my life used to be that surviving an accident (by having a big honkin' truck) took precedence over needing to avoid an accident. ie., Desolate roads call for less agility from a car than does darting in and out of gridlock. Now because of how much traffic (and how many lunatics) I have to deal with, having the nimbleness of a lower car and being able to avoid the accident in the first place is the more pressing need.
And thank dog I'm no longer spending $200 per month on gas.

Nothing yet, just planning. And crossing my fingers.

Well, everyone knows that pregnancy is catching, so if it is as catchy over phone lines/patch cable as it is in person, everything should work out well.

My Thursday night agility class has/had 3 pregnant women (my daughter was born 3 weeks ago, one woman is due in 3 weeks and one is due in 6 weeks). One of the co-owners of our club said she was staying far away from the Thurs night classes, not wanting to 'catch' the pregnancy bug!

Good luck Cate!

Wrong species for this newsgroup! For those who do care - she was born July 31 at 5:44 AM. We named her Claire. She's an angel- and things are much easier the second time around (we also have a 3 year old daughter).
ObDogs: Molly (lab mix) likes to sniff her and then walk away disdainfully. Bonnie (BC mix) is starting to show alot more interest in her now that she's
more active. Every time she cries, Bonnie comes over to give her a little lick, kind of annoying but very cute. I think they prefer the toddler stage when baby becomes a cheerio dispenser..

Thansk Gwen, she's a doll.

I know she's an angel. Claire is a beautiful name. Height?
weight?

Oh absolutely. The truth is time flies very quickly and Claire will soon become a cheerio dispenser before you know it. Of course having a three year old I am sure you are already aware of this.

Congrats Mary! The place I worked when I got pregnant with Amie had a total of 5 employees, all women, including the owner. The owner had an adoption in the works. The girl that ran the retail store got pregnant two days after it was announced the owner found a baby to adopt. One month later the girl that ran the shipping department got pregnant. One month later I got pregnant. The only one who wasn't expecting was the bookkeeper who was past child-bearing age. Needless to say that company down-sized quite a bit as 2 quit to become full-time moms, owner became absent in order to be a full-time mom, and I found a better paying job while on maturnity leave. People were very scared to come anywhere near our office during that period of time.
