Like many dog owners, I often notice very interesting expressions on my dog's face when he's thinking of something. Sometimes these expressions are so human-like that I nearly expect him to start talking. Don't believe people that say dogs have no mimicry! Obviously, such people have NEVER owned a dog!

i 100% agree with you anonymous! i love my loko's expression when he's asking to play or for a walk. so cute!
Right now my mastiff pup looks like she's permanently in a bad mood Emotion: big smile
I second your opinions, guys! I never owned a dog myself but I have a friend that had a German Shepherd once. We used to spend a lot of time together playing and walking, I could definitely say when the dog was happy or sad. Emotion: wink

Ruslana I bet it was all in the ears lol!!
LOL yea, the ears are very expressive! Emotion: big smile And also the "eyebrows" if I can say so. I believe you know what I mean: when the dog looks now at you, now at your friend awaiting to play. As if he was saying, "Come on, friends, let's play! Who will be the first one to make a move??" Yea, I loved that look. Emotion: smile
Haha yes!! Even though my girl is almost completely black her eyesbrows wriggle about more than a worm! Emotion: big smile
i saw some pics of your girl.. her name's sky, isn't it? her face is really very expressive!
To notice dog mimicry, you have to be just a little bit observant; and to love your dog, of course.
